Welding Power Characteristics

This interaction was developed as part of a Welding Processes course aimed at welding inspectors, whilst working for an engineering training organisation.

In the course, information was provided about how various welding processes worked and which applications they were best suited to.

For the section covering the MIG/MAG welding process, an interaction was created to show how the power characteristic of the process works. Users were able to adjust the voltage on a dial, and see how this affected other parameters such as current, arc length and burn-off speed.
